BIOGRAPHY
Born in Poland, Jack Marcin is a sought after guitarist in New York City. As an independent artist he has performed with some of the industry’s highly prized performers to add his unique musical flair.
Highly skilled at his craft, Jack is well versed on steel string acoustic, nylon, and electric guitars. Prized as a solo performer where he performs classical repertoire; he is equally respected as a musical director and guitarist with bands across the Eastern United States. Coming from a Polish Upbringing and known as “El Polaco de la Bachata,” Jack Marcin is coveted for his refreshing take on Latin Music where he can be heard with Los Toros Band, Grupo Aurora, Bryan Sensation, and M.Sosa y Bachataflo.
To date he has performed with Grammy award winners such as: Arturo O’Farrill, Linus Wyrsch, Pablo Arraya, Ryan Keberle, Gustavo Di Dalva, and LaLulu. He continues to pave his own way as a solo artist, coveted sideman, educator, and guitar authority.
Jack has performed internationally at various concert series such as and not limited to: Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, Carnegie Hall, Mohegan Sun, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Carteret Latin Festival, Pennsylvania Latin Festival, and Lungolago in Ticino.
